Privacy Policy for ApplyFast – NetSuite Cash Application Assistant

ApplyFast is a Chrome extension that helps apply customer payments to invoices on NetSuite's Accept Customer Payment screen. ApplyFast has no server of its own. This policy explains what the extension reads, what it stores on your computer, and the one case where it sends data outside your browser: license checks with Lemon Squeezy.

NetSuite data ApplyFast accesses

ApplyFast's page script is loaded on NetSuite pages but only acts on the Accept Customer Payment screen. There it:

• reads the invoice references and amounts you paste into the ApplyFast panel;
• reads the Invoices list on the page (for example Ref No., PO and other list columns, Amt. Due, Payment, Disc. Taken and the Apply checkbox), the customer field and the page range, to find matching rows and detect changes;
• after you review the preview and click Apply, ticks Apply and fills Payment and Disc. Taken on the rows you approved.

ApplyFast never clicks Save. The values it fills in are saved by NetSuite only when you click Save yourself.

What is not collected or transmitted

Invoice numbers, amounts, customer details, the text you paste and other NetSuite page contents are processed only inside your browser. ApplyFast does not store them and does not send them to ApplyFast, Lemon Squeezy or any other service. Previews and scan results exist only while the NetSuite page is open.

ApplyFast does not use analytics, tracking, advertising or error-reporting services, and does not use Chrome sync.

License information

This page only mode is free and does not require a license. All pages mode requires an ApplyFast license. Licenses are provided through Lemon Squeezy, ApplyFast's license and payment provider.

If you activate a license, ApplyFast sends requests directly from your browser to the Lemon Squeezy License API (api.lemonsqueezy.com). Chrome asks for your permission before the first request. The requests contain:

• Activate: your license key and a randomly generated name for this browser installation (for example "ApplyFast Chrome 1a2b3c4d").
• Check: your license key and the license instance ID Lemon Squeezy assigned at activation.
• Deactivate: your license key and the license instance ID.

These requests contain no NetSuite data and are sent without cookies. As with any web request, Lemon Squeezy also receives standard connection information such as your IP address.

The license key is used only to activate, check and deactivate your ApplyFast license so that All pages mode can be unlocked.

License checking

While a license is active, ApplyFast checks it with Lemon Squeezy about once a day, and retries hourly after a failed check. You can also check it at any time with the Re-check button in the ApplyFast popup. If the license cannot be verified for 7 days, All pages mode locks until a check succeeds. If you never activate a license, ApplyFast makes no license requests.

What is stored on your computer

• Chrome extension storage (local): if you activate a license, the license key, license instance ID and instance name, the Lemon Squeezy store, product and plan identifiers, the license status and expiry date, the times of activation and the last checks, and the last license error message. If you updated from a version before 1.6, the date your 30-day transition period started.
• Chrome extension session storage: when you start activation from the toolbar popup, the key may be held for up to 10 minutes so activation can finish in a new tab. It is deleted as soon as it is used and is cleared when the browser closes.
• NetSuite site storage (localStorage): a single flag, applyFast_monthlyMessage_YEAR_MONTH, so a support message is shown at most once a month. It contains no personal or NetSuite data.

ApplyFast does not set cookies. The ApplyFast popup only shows the last four characters of your license key.

Third-party services

Lemon Squeezy processes license purchases and license checks. Purchases take place on Lemon Squeezy's website, not inside the extension, so ApplyFast never handles your payment details. Lemon Squeezy's handling of your information is described in its own privacy policy, available on its website.

Data sharing

ApplyFast does not operate a server and does not receive your data, so it does not sell or share it. The license key is sent only to Lemon Squeezy, for the license checks described above.

Retention and deletion

• Clicking Deactivate in the ApplyFast popup releases the activation at Lemon Squeezy and removes the license details from your browser.
• Uninstalling ApplyFast removes all of its extension storage, including the license details and transition date.
• The monthly message flag stays in the NetSuite site's storage until you clear site data for NetSuite in Chrome.
• Lemon Squeezy keeps license records according to its own privacy policy.

Changes to this policy

If ApplyFast's data practices change, this page and the "Last updated" date will be updated, and the change will be described in the extension's release notes.
